With a Mafia boss and a priest already dead, the wrong people knowing what he heard could mean the end of Alberto’s life.

Road to Hell and Back

In a world tainted by sinister influences, Alberto Capuano is forced to enlist in the Italian navy. A six-year journey takes him from Sicily, to the depths of Libya, and then into Egypt to spy on the British. Captured, and interned in a prisoner-of-war camp in Kenya, East Africa, he’s threatened by hostile guards, menaced by a fellow prisoner, while helping three men escape. Amidst the turmoil, Alberto discovers solace in creating a remarkable masterpiece: a model schooner that becomes his ticket to freedom. This book will be available on Amazon in late October 2023.
